Hi.
I’m Lisa-Henriëtte Huber-Youmans, but you can call me Lëtte.
Ceramics has always been a part of my life, thanks to my mom, who taught pottery for years.
Though I began my career in journalism and the music industry, life gently guided me back to my
clay-covered, muddy roots.
Hermann Hesse said, “In jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne” (there’s magic in every new beginning). And I’ve embraced this magic since I can remember, welcoming change and the chance to reinvent myself and I like to think it is visible in my work as well.
Now change blew me to the coast of Scotland, where I found a home in a studio at Summerhall, lovingly run by Agata of Aku Ceramics.
I'll use the time until end of this year, to softly adapt to the new habitat whilst continuing the growth on my work.
My shop will take a little well-deserved snooze during that time.
